Countdown to the Flight for Malaysia

Posted in Personal on December 14, 2008 by Matthew

Today started serious… (“Why so serious?”~Joker from Batman: The Dark Knight) and now it’s ended in a happier note.

So, 5 more days until departure for Malaysia. This time, my sister and I are carrying two extra luggage with us. Well, I wouldn’t really call them luggage. My sister’s boyfriend and Cheeky (my girlfriend) will be experience, for their very first time, overseas traveling. Hooray for 15+ hours flight. That would probably be the longest flight for them… until they realize they’ve got to do it all over again when returning. Almost making a person not want to return, heheheh.

In any case, it’s been good to know that most of my family and family friends will be there for my grandma’s 80th birthday. Big big stuff coming up and I wonder who I’ll meet that I haven’t seen in forever and who I wouldn’t meet… which would definitely be really sad.

So, counting down the days until we leave… it’s time to pack and have a list of what to bring down and what to bring back.

Semester Over

Posted in College on December 10, 2008 by Matthew

Semester came to an end this morning after the end of my final exam. Though I did poorly on it, I still feel a free load out from my chest. One that I will eventually meet again down the road (since I still have another semester to go).

Next up on the list of my to dos, doing everything else except studying.
